 Yvon Ducharme es un explorador francés que queda congelado durante siglos en el río Yukon. Trescientos años después, queda descongelado y al cargo del niño inuit Tommy. Yvon intenta adaptarse a su nueva vida en la ciudad de Upyermukluk.
